March has arrived, the weather is turning warmer and the time to enjoy your neighborhood pool is right around the corner! Enclosed is your renewal notice for the April 1, 2010 – March 31, 2011 pool season. You will notice that the dues have not increased this year, but you will see a convenient new payment option. We realize that paying your pool dues is a luxury and that times are tough. It is our hope that when you see the coming improvements and hear what our plans are for the future, you will feel your membership is money well spent!
This spring, the Pool Board has been busy moving forward with our Capital Plan. A new fence has been installed at the back of the pool and the pool resurfacing project should be starting soon! We are also working to get the bathrooms tiled before the pool season officially kicks off!! We are very excited to finally have this long delayed project underway.
We still need help covering the costs of the renovation. If you and your family have already contributed to the Capital Fund – thank you!! If you have not, please consider adding a little extra along with your renewal.
The simplest route to helping fund our facility improvements is to grow our membership! You and your family are, by far, the best recruiting resource. Again this year, referring a friend can save you up to $100 ($50 cash the day they join and $50 credit towards next years membership). Please invite your friends to join the pool and invite them to any of our social events.
Look for e-mails soon about some great events coming this year and don’t forget our very popular mid-August Youth Triathlon. If you have any ideas for events at the pool or tennis courts, please let us know!
Thank you all for helping make our club so special to so many of us. I personally look forward to seeing you this summer and hope you feel the same.
